History

The Orange Peel Gazette of Martin & St. Lucie Counties is a local, independently franchised paper that is managed by Frank Winchester and published by Tammy Winchester of Fort Pierce.

The Orange Peel Gazette paper was started in 1998 by Keith and Annie Tester of St. Cloud, Florida, after they moved down from Montana. The Testers operate the Osceola edition of the Orange Peel Gazette, and provide on-going corporate support to all of the franchises, which distribute the Gazette throughout Florida and in four others states (Georgia, Illinois, and southern New York and Maryland). The vision developed by the Tester's was to print a fun, uplifting paper that would enable people to take a few minutes to smile amid the hustle and bustle of the day.

We are proud to be a part of such a successful tradition!
